Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show
- October 21, 2011
- 8:00 PM
They were style with substance, swing with swagger and a non-stop party that everyone wanted access to. Now audiences can experience this critically acclaimed, hugely entertaining theatrical production which includes exciting new arrangements of the classic songs everyone knows and loves. In addition, audiences will hear original, never-before-heard songs written by the late, legendary songwriter Ron Miller (“For Once In My Life”), and recorded voiceovers made exclusively for this show by Sandy Hackett’s father, the late, legendary comedian Buddy Hackett.
America
- November 11, 2011
- 8:00 PM
America’s journey has found them exploring a wide variety of musical terrain. Their best-known tunes, which include “I Need You,” “Ventura Highway,” “Don’t Cross The River,” “Tin Man,” “Lonely People” and “Sister Golden Hair,” were cornerstones of 1970s Top 40 and FM rock radio. Yet beyond their impressive catalog of hits, listeners would discover there was always much more to America than surface perceptions. The combination of Gerry Beckley’s melodic pop rock and Dewey Bunnell’s use of folk-jazz elements, slinky Latin-leaning rhythms and impressionistic lyric imagery contrasted well with Dan Peek’s more traditional country-rock leanings and highly personal lyrics.
Kathleen Madigan
- January 13, 2012
- 8:00 PM
In her 22 year career, Kathleen Madigan has never been hotter with her new Showtime special, “Gone Madigan.” She’s had countless appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and every other late night show that has come and gone. She’s had her own hour specials on HBO and Comedy Central. In addition to the stand-up appearances, Madigan has been a correspondent for “The Dr. Phil Show,” ESPN 2 and has done commentary on VH1, CNN, E! , CMT and TV Guide’s Emmy Red Carpet.
The Celtic Tenors
- March 9, 2012
- 8:00 PM
The Celtic Tenors have established themselves as the most successful classical crossover artists ever to emerge from Ireland. In 2000, following an impromptu audition at EMI in London, The Celtic Tenors were signed on the spot to an international record deal, a highly unusual event that was the talk of the music industry. While each of The Celtic Tenors have been influenced by the musical traditions from their own individual parts of Ireland, Daryl, James and Matthew show great flexibility in melding their voices to suit the appropriate classical, folk, Irish and pop genres.
