Six years ago, the Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay organized the first Girlfriends Event as an additional way to build brand awareness and raise money for its endowment fund, which grants money to non-profits each year. The Girlfriends Event was created because many women were not able to attend the Power of the Purse luncheon because it’s held during the day. The annual Girlfriends event allows girlfriends to enjoy an evening out at the Meyer Theatre to listen to great music, learn about the Women’s Fund, and meet new women in the greater Green Bay area.
